Call for Abstracts
The Australasian Rehabilitation Nurses' Association invites you to submit an abstract for presentation at the 33rd Conference, being held on the Gold Coast, 17 - 18 October 2024.
Online abstract submissions will be accepted until Monday 6th May 2024
The theme of the conference is:
"Rehabilitation Nurses: Evolving with the Community"
Healthcare is evolving, as it always has done and continues to do so. In rehabilitation, this evolution brings with it the potential for new and improved diagnostics, treatments, advances in assistive technologies, and longer lifespans with outcomes (both good and bad) impacting on consumers, healthcare professionals, and communities alike. The future is coming and the conference theme this year reminds us that the needs of our communities are evolving; if rehabilitation is to remain a valuable part of the healthcare landscape and provide the best care possible, rehabilitation nurses and nursing practice must also evolve.
Presentation formats on offer are:
| Short Oral | 15 minutes (including 5 minutes for questions) |
| Long Oral | 30 minutes (including 5 minutes for questions) |
| Poster (AO) | 841mm wide x 1189mm H (portrait only) |
