Nick is a Partner of K&L Gates Global Labour, Employment and Workplace Safety practice in Melbourne.

Nick practises in a range of sectors including education, health, retail, government and finance.His experience in labour relations stretches back before his time as a lawyer when he was an industrial relations practitioner and advocate working for industrial organisations.

He has been an external consultant to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Geneva and has delivered an address at the United Nations in New York on Australian Workplace Standards in an international context.

His practice is both litigious and advisory and he brings to it an enthusiasm for legal strategy and a practical application of the law.

Since 2008, Nick has been named by Best Lawyers (as published in the Australian Financial Review) as one of the top lawyers in Australia.  He is also a highly recommended lawyer in a number of international legal guides.

Nick is an active participant in human resources circles and a regular guest at human resources and employment law conferences; he was the recipient of the Australian Human Resources Institute Medal in 2013.
