National Mediator Accreditation

AIFLAM is a Recognised Mediator Accreditation Body, and can provide training for accreditation as a National Accredited Mediator if you so desire.

If you are already Nationally Accredited as a Mediator, you can re-accredit with AIFLAM when required to do so by the National Mediator standards.

Practitioner Training

Courses have also been run by AIFLAM for solicitors to help with their understanding of Mediation and Mediation-style Conferences and to assist them in preparing clients for a negotiated settlement in a Mediation-style Conference environment. The course introduces new concepts and processes for dealing with practitioners and the Mediator or Chair of mediation style conferencing.

It is proposed to conduct courses of this type in association with state Law Societies and local Family Law Practitioner associations. AIFLAM will keep you informed as training programs become available. Through our State Board members we will post to the website any conferences or training programs to be of interest to members.
