The Call for Abstracts for the AVETRA Conference closed on March 5, 2011.
2020 Conference Abstracts and Papers
Due to the pandemic, our 2020 conference had to be postponed. Abstracts and papers accepted for the 2020 conference are guaranteed a place in the 2021 conference program. If you had an abstract or paper accepted for the 2020 conference and you would like present at the 2021 conference, please contact Steven Hodge so that arrangements can be made to accommodate your presentation.
Women in Adult and Vocational Education (WAVE) has established a grant in memory of long-time member Sue Salthouse.
It is WAVE’s intention to make this an annual grant and looks forward to awarding it for the first time at this year’s AVETRA 21 conference to a practitioner/researcher to support research on ‘gender and disability’. WAVE hopes this grant will help to foster emerging and practitioner researchers to undertake VET research on the themes of gender and disability.
The grant of $1000 will help support research in this area. To apply, simply submit an abstract to present a paper at the AVETRA 21conference, and further information will then be provided if your abstract is accepted.
For more information on WAVE, contact WAVE National Convenor, Linda Simon.
