Rosie began her career as a registered nurse, in neurosciences. Her interest in research led to an academic career which began at Salford University and continued at Birmingham University. In 20212, Rosie completed her PhD which examined the nursing contribution to older adults' mobility rehabilitation. She became the Head of School, Nursing, Midwifery and Health at Coventry University, in 2016, leading a team of over 200 academic staff. Rosie continues to teach and her research interests relate to: compassion practice; nursing; teamwork; and rehabilitation practice. She has examined six doctoral studies and is currently supervising three PhD students.

Theresa has over 30 years post registration nursing experience in clinical practice, management, education, research and academia across a variety of settings (acute and rehabilitation). She completed her doctoral and post-doctoral studies in the area of stroke recovery and community reintegration; she has presented and published ongoing research findings nationally and internationally. Theresa's clinically-focused neuroscience-related research interests center on quality patient care, evidence based practice and the emerging fields of implementation science and improvement science.

Deborah Miller has dedicated over 30 years’ to serving the Queensland community in a range of public and private sector clinical and health administrative roles at both a strategic and operational level. More recently also broadening her reach by taking on a position as Non Executive Director on a Regional Victorian Health Service Board.
Deborah has recently commenced as Senior Director Governance and Stewardship, Office of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, Clinical Excellence Queensland, Queensland Health. Providing stewardship and governance in managing over $400M in funding committed to Nursing and Midwifery initiatives across the State.
Deborah is also currently an Adjunct Associate Professor, School of Medicine at Griffith University and holds a Bachelor of Nursing and a Masters in Business Administration. Areas of particular interest include: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island health, rural health and leading health system reform to support the delivery of value based, person centered care to the community that we serve.
