The 32nd ARNA Conference is the highlight of the rehabilitation nursing calendar! Here's some useful information to help you make the most of your time at the 32nd ARNA National Conference.

THE VENUE.

QT CANBERRA

Where culture meets pollies, the QT Canberra offers sleek designer accommodation and Canberra's largest conferencing facilities. It is a short walk to CBD shops and restaurants. QT Canberra is three minutes' drive from the Parliament of Australia. It is five minutes' drive from the Australian War Memorial and the National Gallery of Australia.


Getting Around 


Canberra has a comprehensive bus network, as well as a light railway connecting the city CBD (Civic) to the northern suburbs. Uber and Taxis are also readily available. You can also hire a car if you want to explore the surrounding region. Limited underground parking is available at the QT Hotel at $25 per night.

Further information on Airport Transport options can be found here: 
Transport Canberra provides daily services to and from Canberra Airport. Rapid Bus 3 runs on a half-hourly schedule on weekdays and on the hour on weekends. The route takes passengers between the Canberra Airport terminal through to the city interchange, Belconnen interchange, Cohen St interchange to Spence Terminus.

ACCOMMODATION.

Onsite accommodation is available at the QT Canberra. ARNA has organised discount accommodation rates for conference delegates with QT Canberra - but room numbers at these rates are strictly limited.

GALA DINNER.

Join us for a gala dinner, celebrating getting together at the 32nd National Conference with new and old friends alike. This year we are dressing for joy! Dress yourself happy by wearing a splash of your favourite colour, or go all out dressed head-to-toe in your shade of choice.

You will be able to purchase a Gala Dinner ticket during the registration process.




DISCOVER CANBERRA.

Canberra is home to the nation's most impressive national establishments, cultural attractions, and institutions. But Canberra is also a foodie’s dream with hidden laneway bars, nationally recognised restaurants and sprawling vineyards just a short drive from the city, you will discover more than you expect in Canberra.


WHAT TO PACK. 

As a guide, temperatures in Canberra in October range from 7°C to 20°C. Dress at the conference is smart casual.   Don't forget to pack something to wear for the Gala Dinner to match the theme and if you aren't keen on dressing up for the dinner, then pack something smart to wear and get ready to have some fun! 


DIETARIES.

The Conference Organisers recognise that some delegates may have special dietary needs. Please advise the Conference organisers via the registration form.
